Organic Vs. Natural

We all see the different things they put on the labels to try to get us to believe we are buying something that is good for us. But what do these labels really mean?

Natural does NOT egual organic!

Natural simply means: Comes from nature, not synthectically produced. The word natural is regulated by the FDA.

Certified Organic: Products must have been grown and processed according to organic standards (federal definition) and must maintain a high level of quality.
To be certified as 100% organic, a product or crop must NOT have been grown with pesticides, utilized genetic modification, used human sludge as fertilizer, or have been irradiated.

Make sure you read the labels carefully so you know what you are putting into your body.
